If a book is available for both listening to and reading, it is often possible to seamlessly switch between the two formats. Check if your book has the symbol that indicates that listening and reading are synchronized for the title.

If your book has this symbol, you will be able to switch between listening and reading without losing your position in the book.
Start reading or listening as you usually would. Once you want to switch to the other format, close the book and then the next time you want to pick it up, press "Listen" or "Read". The app will now let you know that a position in the book was found in the other format and ask you whether you want to go there.
Accept the switch and you are good to go!
