If a book is available for both listening and reading, you can often switch seamlessly between the two formats. Check if your book has the symbol that shows that listening and reading are synchronised for the title.

If your book has this symbol, you can switch between listening and reading without losing your place in the book.
Switch while listening or reading
Tap the three dots in the top right corner of the audio player or e-book reader, then choose "Switch to E-book" or "Switch to audiobook". You will then continue where you left off, in the other format.
Switch the next time you open the book
You can also close the book and tap "Listen" or "Read" the next time you open it. The app will tell you that it has found your place in the other format and ask if you want to go there. Accept, and you're good to go!
No sync symbol?
If your book is available for both listening and reading but doesn't have the sync symbol, don't worry. We're adding synchronisation to new books all the time. You can also contact our customer support and we'll see if we can speed things up for your book.
