You can add a bookmark in an audiobook or e-book to find your way back to a good part later. You can also add a note to your bookmark.
Add a bookmark
- Tap the bookmark symbol
at the bottom of the audio player or at the top of the e-book reader.
- Tap "Add a new bookmark".
- Write a note if you like, then tap "Save". You can also save the bookmark without a note.
You can't edit a note once you have saved it. If you want to change it, remove the bookmark and add a new one.
Your bookmarks are saved to your account, so you can see them on all your devices. If a book is available as both an audiobook and an e-book, the bookmarks are kept separately for each edition.
Go to a bookmark
Tap the bookmark symbol to open the bookmark menu, then tap the bookmark you want to go to. The book will jump straight to the right place.
Remove a bookmark
Tap "Edit" in the bookmark menu and choose the bookmarks you want to remove. On iOS, you can also swipe left on a bookmark to remove it.
See all your bookmarks on the website
You can find a list of all your bookmarks under "My data" on your account page on the BookBeat website. The list shows the title, author and note for each bookmark, but not where in the book the bookmark is placed.
