BookBeat doesn't usually produce books ourselves. Instead, we offer books from many different publishers.
Why some books aren't available
We're always working to have as many books as possible in the app, but there are several reasons why a book might not be available, for example:
- We don't have the streaming rights to the book.
- We don't currently work with the publisher.
- The book is exclusive to another service.
- There is no digital version of the book.
- The rights to the book have been withdrawn or changed.
Streaming rights can change over time. This means we can't guarantee that a certain book will be available, or that a book will stay in BookBeat forever.
Why a book is available in one language but not another
Different language versions of a book often have different publishers. If we work with one publisher but not the other, we might have a translation of a book but not the original, or the other way around.
