When you search for a book, series, author, narrator or topic in the app, you can use the Sort by and Filter options to make it easier to find what you’re looking for.
Where you find these options depends on your device. On Android, "Sort By" and "Filter" are shown above your search results. On iPhone, you’ll find the sort and filter icons in the top-right corner, next to the search bar.
Tap "Sort By" to change the order of your search results. You can sort by Relevance, Last Published, First Published, Rating, Duration - long to short, or short to long.
Tap the filter icon to narrow down the results based on what you’re looking for.
You can filter by:
- Format – choose between audiobooks or e-books.
- Badges – e.g. Top 10 Romance or Page turner.
- Topic – find books about a specific topic.
- Described as – find books based on how they are described.
- Book duration – filter books based on their length.
- Book rating – choose books based on their rating.
- Language – choose which language or languages you want to see. You can read more about finding books in other languages here.
- Special formats – e.g. audio drama or synced audiobook and e-book.
- WCAG version and WCAG level – filter based on accessibility information.
- Other filters – including Part of a series, Exclude AI authors, Exclude AI narration and more.
