A book error is a problem with the book itself, for example parts of the book are missing, the chapters are in the wrong order or there is noise in the recording. You can report book errors directly in the app.
Is it a book error or a playback problem?
If a book stutters, stops or won't play, it's usually not a book error but a problem with streaming or your connection. Please try the steps in our article about what to do if you have trouble playing books first.
If you've noticed an error in a book you bought separately from your subscription, please read our article about errors in purchased books instead.
Report a book error
- Tap the three dots in the top right corner of the audio player or e-book reader.
- Choose "Report book error".
- The app will first suggest a few things to try in case the problem is technical. If they don't help, tap "Report book error" again to continue.
- Choose the reason that fits best: "Noise/Interference", "Repetition", "Incorrect book information", "Wrong track/chapter order", "Missing content", "Wrong position on reading/listening switch" or "Other error".
- Describe the error in the text field that appears. You need to fill it in before you can send the report.
- Tap "Send".
Why report errors in the app?
When you report an error in the app, we automatically get the exact point in the book where it happened. Please still describe the error in as much detail as you can, so we can give the publisher the right information.
We can't fix most book errors ourselves, but we forward them to the publisher and ask them to correct the book.
