If you are the lucky owner of a BookBeat gift card, you’re a few steps away from enjoying one million books.

Follow these steps to redeem your gift card if you are new to BookBeat:

1. Go to our website, choose "Gift card" from the menu and go to "Redeem". This is where you enter your 20-digit gift card code.
2. Enter your information and create an account.*
3. Download the BookBeat app to your smartphone or tablet and log in with the same information you have used when creating your account.
4. Choose from our wide selection of books and start listening or reading!

If you already have a BookBeat account, you can redeem your gift card like this:

1. Go to our website and log in to your account.
2. Go to "Gift card" in the account menu and enter your 20-digit code. Click here to go directly to the gift card page on your account.
3. If you don't have an active subscription, the gift card will take effect immediately and you can start listening and reading in the app. Your access to BookBeat will end automatically after the gift card unless you decide to activate your subscription.
4. If you an ongoing subscription when redeeming your gift card, this newly redeemed gift card will first take effect after the current period is over. This also applies if you don't have any hours left. Your subscription will continue as per usual after the gift card period has run out.

*Please note that gift cards cannot be combined with a free trial. If the gift card recipient wants to use a free trial, they will have to start a subscription and enter a valid payment method first and then redeem the gift card once the trial has run out.

Gift cards are only available for the following markets and have to be bought on the respective website: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom
Gift cards are not transferable between markets.
